Vehicle Description This appears to be a legit SS 396 Camaro which is not easy to find anymore.
The body is pristine, #s match, mostly original interior original and nobody has added a rear spoiler.
This tells me it's an honest car.
It has been body off frame restored, underneath is detailed.
EXTERIOR:
The fit and finish on this car is pristine.
I believe it to have it's original metal.
It is laser beam straight, not even a ripple.
The body panels line up square and flush.
Everything closes like a new car.
No cracks, bubbles, shrinkage etc.
Repainted it's original frost green.
The metal flake is laid out evenly and uniform throughout, the clear coat is polished like glass.
The hockey stick stripe is applied properly.
All of the emblems, ice cube trays, stainless moldings, door handles, mirror, marker lights, antenna look like new.
The bumpers have minor wear.
The grill is excellent, it has T-3 correct headlights and a front spoiler.
In back the tail panel is blacked out.
All the glass is real clear and windows roll smooth and fit nice.
The door jambs are painted glossy, weatherstrips and sill plates were replaced.
Vinyl top is excellent.
The tires are reproduction Goodyear F70s on 15 inch rally wheels that look new.
INTERIOR:
I believe the interior is all original except for the carpet.
The seats, door panels, armrests, headliner, console are all very well preserved.
The dash area is real nice, it has original working am radio, matching cigarette lighter and new glove box liner.
It has a very unique fold down rear seat.
There is one small cigarette burn on the driver's seat, the passenger door panel has a nick on the edge.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT:
It has the VIN number matching 396-325 horsepower motor.
The codes, dates and stamp all look proper.
Correct manifolds, valve covers and air cleaner.
The engine compartment is restored to factory specs.
It has the complete smog equipment intact, reproduction spark plug wires, hose clamps, fuel filter and spring clamp battery cables.
The alternator, pulleys, brackets, wiper motor all look like new.
It features power steering and power brakes.
It's show ready! TRUNK COMPARTMENT:
Solid, clean metal, the quarter panels look original.
Very neatly spatter painted.
Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted real slick.
It has new seat divider, weatherstrip and trunk mat.
UNDERSIDE:
Everything was dropped out of the bottom of this car including the subframe.
All the components were rebuilt and detailed.
The front end suspension and steering is completely rebuilt.
In back it has correct spiral shocks, new hardware, bushings etc.
The brake system has been completely rebuilt.
It has disc in front, e-brake assembly is hooked up.
It has the optional chambered exhaust which has no mufflers, just crimped pipe.
Looking up at the motor it's spotless, the starter looks recent.
The turbo 400 is correct, the 1969 tag is still riveted to it.
The original 12 bolt rear end is in back, it's dated to this car.
The metal looks pristine, the floors are smooth and painted semi gloss black.
It is exceptionally nice under here.
