Vehicle Description 14,619 original miles! Very well preserved survivor.
It feels and functions like a low mile car should.
It was on display in a museum.
EXTERIOR:
No rust, no damage on the body.
It has had only 1 exterior repaint.
Original Battleship gray has a glossy finish.
The jambs are still the original paint and weatherstrips.
You can just let go of the doors and they click shut.
The chrome and trim is original.
It has it's original glass and it's clear.
The original tires were age cracked and replaced with reproduction Goodyear tires.
The hubcaps and rims are excellent.
INTERIOR:
Probably the best part of the car.
It is close to new looking inside.
The dash is beautiful.
The painted metal, plastic knobs, gauges all are excellent.
The gauges work.
The painted faux burlwood window frames are mint.
The door panels are mint, has excellent handles and cranks.
The pinstripe seats are pristine, they are protected with Chevrolet plastic covers.
The headliner and visors are excellent.
It has a South Wind heater under the dash that looks brand new.
The rubber mat in front and carpet in back is original.
Owner's manual is in the glove box.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT:
It is an all original motor compartment.
These inline sixes ran forever, Chevy used them for decades.
The original paint on the firewall is mint.
It looks like the cap and wires are new.
The radiator hoses and clamps are original.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT:
In here is one of the original Canadian made Goodyear tires.
The jack assembly, lug wrench and instructions are still in place.
The liner and rubber mat are still good original.
UNDERSIDE:
Rock solid original condition.
It was undercoated a long, long time ago.
Recently cleaned and dusted with semi gloss black, it looks tidy.
A low mile survivor has it's own feel.
They typically function so smooth.
There are not many like this.
